Ryobi Impact Driver Kits

For those starters who are new to these power tools, I understand how confusing it could be to differentiate impact drill and drivers and the bunch of other different tools in the market. Although some of them seem to share many similarities, which make your time harder to choose the most suitable tools for your needs, many of them actually has their differences and are designed to meet up different requirement. Therefore, I am offering this guide to help you search for the best tool for your needs.

Ryobi impact drivers are generally highly regarded among its users. It has many characteristics which are highly appreciated by its fellow users, among those characteristics are the cheap price tag, the functionality of the product and the user-friendly design which enable users to operate this power tool easily.

The model I am going to review is Ryobi Corded Impact Driver Drill EID-1052RE-TC .The impact driver is at a price as low as $60. The product has a power grip that improves gripping and enable users to handle it at ease while operating the tool, this further reduces vibration. It has a drilling capacity steel of 13mm, as for masonry it is capable for as much as 16mm and for wood, 40mm.

This is a 1050watt impact drill that comes with a 13mm keyless chuck. Its powerful 1050 watt motor was also carefully equipped with a variable speed control trigger that enables its users to grasp a better control over the tool.

To test the product, I used it on steel and wood. I started with wood, the screws went in easily with no problems at all. Vibration from the hammering actions was all good and cool and everything seems under control, which is something I like. I continue with my work on wood for almost 35 minutes and then I proceed with steel. In the case of steel, it takes a longer time for the screws to go in and the progress even started to slow down and become almost stop at around 45 minutes or so. The driver vibrates wildly and I turned it off.

As for overall, I would say this is a great product for starters who aren’t frequent or heavy user of an impact driver given that this affordable price tag and it’s generally speaking good quality. However, for heavy and professional users, I would recommend something with more durability.

Ryobi Impact Driver Kits Reviews

Impact has allot more power than a drill, great for driving deck screws or even light automotive work in the shop. It won’t take you wheels off so don’t try but when you have to take 24 screws out of a radiator shroud it is handier than air, no hose. I have quite a few of the Ryobi set I know they are not dewalt but for half the price and occasional use they fit the bill nicely.
